2- WHERE DID ALL THIS COME FROM?
SlimBody4Life draws on ancient Eastern breathing
and exercise techniques that are evident in Yoga and Qi Gong.
These ancient techniques were used to cultivate energy within
the body through the breath and direct it through postures and
movements. In doing so, ancient practitioners were able to regulate
their weight, body fat and general wellbeing. The SlimBody4Life
team has synthesised these practices and combined them with
Western Fitness and Nutrition Principles to enhance the bodies
fat burning properties whilst still incorporating the wellbeing
attributes of these ancient practices.
3- IS THIS LIKE YOGA AND PILATES?
The SlimBody4Life Method draws on the same
ancient techniques upon which Yoga and Pilates have been based
and whilst it incorporates some similar principles it is a completely
unique approach to fat burning and wellbeing. The breathing
in itself is unique to SlimBody4Life and whilst there are similarities
in the exercises the combination of the breathing with these
exercises is unique to SlimBody4Life.
Beyond its focus on fat burning SlimBody4Life
offers other attributes similar to that offered by yoga and
pilates, such as increased flexibility, core stability and wellbeing.
4- HOW DOES BREATHING BURN FAT?
It is not the breathing by itself that burns
fat it is the combination of the unique breathing technique
with the specially designed exercises that creates this possibility.
The SlimBody4Life Method is a new form of Aerobic Exercise and
Aerobic Exercise is any exercise that causes our body to demand
more oxygen. By increasing the demand for oxygen Aerobic Exercise
burns fat because fat only burns in the presence in oxygen.
Simplistically our Aerobic System uses the increased oxygen
and combines it with our body fat to fuel the activity we are
undertaking.
5- WHY HAVEN’T WE HEARD OF THIS
BEFORE?
Because until now the principles haven’t
been isolated and made accessible. People in yoga, martial arts
circles and other Eastern practices have been using the breath
to change their bodies for a long time, but these circles tend
to be less accessible to many people. Western fitness too, has
been using the principle of oxygen burning fat for a long time,
but until now within the context of other exercises (jogging,
gym workouts, and aerobics).
The SLIMBODY4LIFE Team has isolated the unique
process of breathing and exercise required to burn fat and created
a system that makes it accessible to everyone regardless of
age, fitness level and gender.
6- WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TRAIN?
The best time to train is in the morning although
you can do the program at any time provided it has been 3-4
hours since you have last eaten. In the morning your metabolism
is its slowest and is waiting to be kick started. Activating
it in the morning will have it working throughout the day helping
you to burn kilojoules/calories even when at rest.
Further, in the morning your stomach is empty
so that you will more likely use your body fat stores as a fuel
source as opposed to the food you have just eaten. Also when
you do eat after exercising your body’s enzymes are more
active and likely to utilise the kilojoules/calories you have
fuelled it with as fuel leaving little or nothing to be stored
as fat. The morning is also the time you have most control of.
There is less likely to be other commitments that crop up and
prevent you from undertaking your scheduled training session.
7- HOW LONG IS IT GOING TO TAKE FOR
ME TO SEE BENEFITS?
That depends on the motivation of each individual,
like anything else. Put more in, get more out.
Everybody has different requirements. Burning
fat is based on many things (metabolic rate, water retention,
age, gender, fitness level and how fast you learn the SlimBody4Life
Method and whether or not you incorporate the Eating Plan with
the Exercise Program.). No one can predict these things, but
it’s safe to say the more motivated you are, the more
you apply yourself, the faster you will experience results.
Most people who apply themselves notice physical
changes occurring during the second week with those who follow
the Healthy Eating Plan experiencing the greatest results. People
can expect to lose as a minimum 1kg a week if they apply themselves.
Apart from the fat burning and weight loss
changes noticed most people also report increased energy levels,
sleeping better and a greater sense of wellbeing in the first

either the SlimBody4Life Method Exercise program in isolation
from the Healthy Eating Plan have experienced results as have
